Our Background

Rosecity Total Child Academy is a vision from God to develop “The Total Man” in every child that comes our way. It is God’s mandate to develop all aspects of the child from the Spiritual, to Academics, Morals to Health.

As a Christian school, we believe strongly in the modelling of our lives after the image of Christ. Spiritual formation is the process of being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others. To achieve this, we have embedded various dimensions into the entire school programme to help the children become more like Jesus.

Our Curriculum

We run a blend of HighScope and Montesorri curriculum with the relevant content as approved by the state and federal government.

HighScope is a British early childhood curriculum developed from extensive research which indicates that children learn best when they participate actively in the learning process. It is a learning approach that encourages learning through direct experience with people, objects, events and ideas. The Montesorri approach on the other hand places emphasis on independence and freedom within limits.

We combine these two approaches to teaching to achieve an optimal result for each child. Each of our classes are equipped with appropriate learning materials and aids relevant to the age of the pupils in the class.

Fear of God

We teach our children to love God and also show them the Lord’s way.

Hard work

We make them learn, work hard, and get academics success.

Love

With love, we nurture and grow every child’s potentials and abilities.

Passion

We believe in every child’s uniqueness and help grow their good passion.

Our tag line is “We don’t just teach we relate” Every term we do not just engage the children, but there are sessions for parents to add value to them. We have had sessions for Fathers.
